10k race and fun run of approximately 2 miles.
It will start on the old canal path (tarmac path) before heading round Sinfin Avenue and onto Merrill Way, then down Wilmore Road to Sinfin and then returns to Shelton Lock via Sinfin Moor Lane and the old canal path and finishing near to the Community Centre. The course is fast and flat and offers a good PB opportunity

Back for its second year, the Sporting Futures Derby City Half Marathon will once again start and finish at the University of Derby and take in the landmarks of the city.
The race will be a licenced event and run under UK Athletics guidelines.
Parking will be available at the University of Derby.
To allow a timely and safe traffic management plan the course will have a strict 180-minute limit.
