The 24-year-old table tennis player, from Borrowash and studying a PhD at Liverpool John Moores University, is a member of the Draycott and Long Eaton Table Tennis Club, ranked number four in England and also playing for Swedish National Women's League side Malmo.
Emma says: "I am currently training at my club Draycott and Long Eaton Table Tennis Club four or five times a week and occasionally at Nottingham University.
"I compete for the club in the Women's British League Premier Division, which we are currently winning. I am also competing for the club Malmo in the Swedish Elite Women's League, and will be travelling there throughout the season to train and play matches.
"I am currently ranked sixth in the England Senior Women's ranking and am hoping to improve on this throughout the season.
"In the future, I hope to compete in the Commonwealth Games for England, having previously been a reserve. I am combining this with completing my PhD at Liverpool John Moores University and coaching the England Youth Squad."
