The 15-year-old sailor, from Staunton Harold Sailing Club, qualified for the Laser Radial Transitional Training Squad that aims to help sailors make the step up to GB sailing team and is based on UK Laser Indland Championship results and meeting the RYA fitness standard.
Eleanor says: "My sailing season has gone very well, with the training I did over the winter paying off.
"I had some excellent results and I have learned lots to take into next year's racing season. Over this winter I will be working hard to improve specific parts of my sailing which should improve my overall performance and race management for next year.
"I hope to gain valuable experience racing abroad on multiple occasions next year at the Laser Radial Youth Europeans in Estonia and the Youth Worlds in Dublin, and hopefully some good results will follow.
"My short-term ambition is to get into the RYA Laser Radial Youth Squad in spring, for which I need to consistently get better results in the Spring World and European Qualifiers and at the RYA Youth Nationals at Pwhelli in April 2016 than some of the existing Youth Squad members, and achieve the squad fitness targets.
"My long-term goal is to get into the British Sailing Team. I am looking forward to the challenge of racing against some of the best sailors in the world at the events next year."
