Eleanor says: "I train with City of Derby Swimming club and I have been there under the watch of Mel Marshall for eight years now and made progress I never thought was possible.

"This past season (2015-2016), I got the opportunity to represent England Central at the UK School Games, where I won a gold, two silvers and a bronze.

"My season continued to progress nicely as I then went on to win the 100m backstroke at the National Inter-County team Championships.

"I then spent two weeks in Dubai on an intense winter training camp. After Christmas, I also went on a month long training camp to Australia which was an amazing experience filled with lots of hard work and progressions.

"My season finished with two silver medals at the British summer championships in the 100m backstroke and 4x100m medley relay.

"The support I get from ICON enables me to access the overseas training camps, which truly benefits my training."
