The 16-year-old swimmer, from Oakwood and a student at Derby College, is a member of the City of Derby Swim Club, winning a gold in the British Championship-World Trials on the 100m and 200m backstroke for under-16s and a gold medal as part of the successful ASA National I freestyle relay squad.
Eleanor says: "I have been a member of the City of Derby swimming club for the past eight years. Over that time, I have had the opportunity to travel the world, represent England and win national medals.
"The 2014-15 season was very successful for me as I became double British champion in the 100m and 200m backstroke at the British Championships in April.
"In May, I had the opportunity to represent England in Italy at the Energy Standard International Cup, where I won three silvers in the 100m and 200m backstroke and the 4x100medley relay.
" At the British summer Championships in June, I went on to win three silvers again in my main events (100m, 200m and 50m backstroke) and then a week later at the ASA Nationals I won a gold as part of the 4x200m freestyle team.
"At the beginning of this season, I was lucky enough to be selected for England central at the UK Sainsbury's School Games in September. I had an amazing experience and came away with a gold, two silvers and a bronze. This season I hope to qualify for the European Junior Championships 2016."
