There are six Disability Sport Groups across eight Derbyshire boroughs, including Derby City, that focus on all matters to do with disability sport within Derbyshire.
The aims and objectives of the groups is to increase participation levels within disability sport and to ensure the inclusiveness of clubs and facilities in each of the local authorities. This will be done through influencing the mainstream sports agenda and ensuring that local providers deliver integrated and inclusive sports and physical activities for all.
