Erewash Disability Sports Group
Erewash Disability Sports Group is now a constituted group who are currently working with local partners to make mainstream sports and physical activity provision more inclusive.
The purpose of the group is to develop sport and physical activity opportunities for disabled people. It will try to support existing organisations like local clubs, facilities and community organisations which are currently delivering activities within the community to be inclusive.
The group currently has members from both statutory and voluntary sectors, for example health, education, social care, Outlook Resource Centre, Leonard Cheshire, Derbyshire Autism Services Group and Sports Development Officers.
