Derbyshire Dales Disability Sports Network
The Derbyshire Dales Disability Sports Network is now a constituted group who are currently developing projects with local partners. The groups are supporting local developments and trying to enhance current sporting provision in the area for disabled people.
The purpose of the network is to develop sporting and leisure opportunities for disabled people. The group will support existing organisations who are currently delivering activities within the community as well as developing new clubs and activities within the district of Derbyshire Dales.
Its members include representatives from both statutory and voluntary sectors, for example health, education, social care, Fairplay, Umbrella and Golding House.
