County Rider to be available across Derbyshire following successful pilot
Derbyshire County Council's County Rider programme, which offers free adult cycle training, is soon to be available for people who live, work or study in all districts of Derbyshire following a successful pilot project.
County Rider offers learners up to four training sessions and each one can last up to two hours. The instructor will design the programme to suit complete beginners or experienced cyclists who want to become even better and safer riders.
Cycling is great for the environment and people can get fit and save money on travel while reducing the pollution caused by traffic congestion. This free training will help adults cycle safely.
County Rider training meets national standards recognised by the Department for Transport.
