Derbyshire School Sports Association Review

As competition within and between schools becomes a greater priority for national Government so the need to provide the right infrastructure within Derbyshire assumes ever greater importance. In light of this the DSSA Executive Group took the decision in early 2007 to begin a process of review, and this process is now drawing to a conclusion.

The aim of the review process is to create a DSSA that is able to act as the leading body for competitive School Sport in Derbyshire.

Through the review process a number of proposals have emerged. Partners around the county have been consulted throughout the process and have provided comments and questions about the proposals. These are summarised in the document below, along with responses.
