Bolsover Sports Partnership

Bolsover Sport was set up in Spring 2007.

Members include:

Bolsover Countryside Partnership
Bolsover Health and Wellbeing Local Strategic Partnership
NHS Derbyshire
Sporting Futures

The group is chaired by Kay Adkins of kay.adkins@kamltd.net and the secretariat is provided by Jenny Carter, Bolsover District Council jenny.carter@bolsover.gov.uk

The Bolsover CSN has kick started Return to Sport projects in the district, initially funding new opportunities with funding from Sport England lottery funding. Some of the projects started this way have been so popular that they are now self sustaining. The CSN has also supported the Active Tibshelf project and are working to see if this model could work in other towns and villages in the district.
