The Derbyshire Coach Mark is a licensing scheme designed to ensure coaches working within a school environment do so to a required standard.
The Derbyshire Coach Mark is a mixture of qualifications, workshop attendance and observation of coaching practice to ensure that coaches are fit for purpose and can deliver well organised, safe, fun, progressive, inclusion and well evaluated sessions to young people.
The Derbyshire Coach Mark compliments the coaching structure within National Governing Bodies of Sport, offers one brand easily recognisable to schools and provides a structure for coaches to develop within.
