Derbyshire Coach Mark
A group of key partners have met regularly over the last 12 months to discuss the potential of a Derbyshire Coach Mark. The Coach Mark aims to ensure consistent high quality delivery through a range of minimum operating standards, including observation of the coach against a set of known criterion.
A pilot group of 23 coaches and 10 observers across Amber Valley and Bolsover have been identified. The Observers have attended training and the coaches have attended briefing sessions.
The pilot began on 16 April 2007 and will continue until 30 September, with an intense period of evaluation from October – December 2007. A staggered roll out across the County will follow in early 2008.
