Clubs and Groups Support
Help for everyone
There are many different types of sports clubs and groups; these pages aim to provide support for everyone. You can find information on club finances, management, people, marketing and mentoring. Within this section there is also a disability sport resources page for clubs and volunteers to help provide an inclusive offer and details of the online Club Improvement Tool that helps clubs and group plan for their development.
Whether you are a social group of friends, a Scouting group, a group of work colleagues or a constituted sports club, there is support available to help you organise and deliver sport and physical activity.
Understanding Derbyshire's clubs and volunteers
A Club and Volunteering Plan was produced by Derbyshire Sport in November 2014 in order to understand how clubs and volunteers can help to increase participation and what support they require to do this. Click here to find out what the key findings were.
To register your club or groups details or to find out what your local clubs or activities are, visit the Club and Activity Finder.
Clubs rely on effective volunteers and you can find out how can serve successfully and the best opportunities through our Activate Derbyshire volunteer section.
