***A one-day training event, entitled 'Safer Recruitment – Criminal Records Bureau Checks & Risk Assessment', has been organised by the NSPCC, Fresh Start Training and Consultancy Service.***

The training is designed for staff with responsibilities for undertaking risk assessments when dealing with positive Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks. The training will have a particular focus on safeguarding children’s welfare in the context of safer recruitment.
