The 18-year-old, from Derby and a student at the University of Derby, is a member of the Viking Canoe Polo Club who came third in division three with the Great Britain Development Canoe Polo squad, the pathway to the senior squad.
Aaron says: "I study Computer Science at the University of Derby where I have been awarded a sport scholarship, which gives me access to their Strength and Conditioning suite. I do two sessions of gym a week coupled with three to four sessions in my boat with my local club Viking Canoe Polo.
"With them, I train in the pool three times per week at Queen Street, Moorways and Belper Leisure Centre, plus one session a week in Darley Abbey on the river.
"I attend a Great Britain Development Academy weekend once a month in Liverpool where we train on specific things such as sprints or tactics. This has really helped to push my game to the next level because there is a lot of one to one coaching.
"I currently play in National Division Two with Viking Canoe Polo and also Regional Division Four with the youth team. With Great Britain, I play in the Development Squad and have played two international tournaments.
"My goals for this season are to carry on training at Liverpool, get more comfortable in Division Two and train in the gym to build strength. I also hope to play more international tournaments with Viking and Great Britain Development, such as Essen and De Paddel.
"In the long run, I hope to be placed in the A team and get promoted to Great Britain Under-21 Squad."
